Extra Life: Playing games to help kids

Hello again folks! Sorry it’s been so quiet after so many posts in a row. My vacation was over so I had to go from being my natural night owl self back to “normal” people hours and so the lack of sleep has left me feeling drained and blah.

However, I have something new and exciting to look forward to! I’m going to be participating in this year’s Extra Life event. If you haven’t heard of it yet, it’s an global game day to raise money for children’s hospitals, starting at 8am central time on October 25 and going to 8am on October 26. Combining 24 hours of gaming with a good cause, what’s not to like?

I’m going to be ambitious and shoot for a goal of $200, with 100% of the donations going to The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. If you can spare even a couple dollars towards the cause, I’ll give you all the virtual hugs you want. You can donate online through this link or through the widget on the sidebar to the right. It’s all For The Kids!
